Today marked another milestone at US Coast Guard Station Sheboygan with a Change of Command. Captain Rhianna Macon, Commander, Sector Lake Michigan presided over the Change of Command. Senior Chief Donald Hamilton took his orders as Officer In Charge at Station Sheboygan relieving Senior Chief Joshua Fennell. We welcome Senior Chief Hamilton and look forward to serving with you!

The Change of Command was followed by a Retirement Ceremony for Senior Chief Fennell who dedicated over 20 years of service to the US Coast Guard. We congratulate Senior Chief Fennell on his well deserved retirement and look forward to seeing him as he takes on a new adventure with SEAS right here is Sheboygan. It has been a great honor to serve with you Senior Chief Fennell!

It was great to see everyone at the Sheboygan 4th of July parade. If you haven’t noticed this was the debut of our mini 41 footer after a refurbishment. A few more final touches and it will be completely done but we couldn’t miss the parade! We hope everyone had a safe and happy 4th of July!

Stay safe this holiday weekend and don’t operate a boat while impaired

The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) conservation wardens will once again join law enforcement agencies nationwide for Operation Dry Water, an annual campaign to prevent boating while impaired to keep waters safe for all during the the holiday weekend, July 3-5.

Today, we honor and remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our nation. Their sacrifice protects the freedoms we enjoy every day and will never be forgotten.

As members of the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary, we stand alongside our Coast Guard family in remembering those who made the ultimate sacrifice in defense of our country.

This Memorial Day, we encourage everyone to take a moment to reflect, remember, and honor our fallen heroes.
