Last week, the French departments at South High School and North High School hosted eleven French students and two teachers from our sister school in Aire-sur-l'Adour, France! The French students lived with the families of a South or North High student, attended classes with them, and went on excursions in and around Sheboygan. The students experienced so many aspects of Sheboygan culture including going to sporting events, visiting pumpkin farms, braving a haunted house, and walking the lakeshore. At South, they were even able to make Crumble Cookies in culinary class! All students were able to share insights about their country and culture, make language connections and comparisons and make friendships that will hopefully last a lifetime! In March, 22 students from South and North High will make a return visit to southwest France to experience French life and culture!
