Those storms last night/this morning brought more than four inches of rain to the Fresh Meals On Wheels gardens!

We are excited to share that we have received a grant of $7,500 from Alliant Energy as a grant for Nutrition of Older Adults.

This support will help further FMOW’s mission of providing nourishing meals and friendly wellness checks to older adults and individuals with disabilities throughout Sheboygan County.

Happy National Dog Day! We know that our four-legged friends help reduce loneliness and isolation. That is why we deliver pet food to some of our meal recipients so that people and their beloved pets are well cared for. If you want to learn more, please reach out!

It's heartbreaking, yet reality. Older adults are the "forgotten generation." Nutrition matters. At all ages. We continue to serve our neighbors and never have a waiting list. Consider volunteering or donating today.

Inflation in food prices can hit even harder for people in their 60s and older as they also juggle fixed incomes, health problems and changes in federal law. Experts say the age group is a “forgotten population” when it comes to food insecurity.

Every quarter members of the ADRC of Sheboygan County Dining Site Advisory Committee meet to share insights and ideas. Most recently the meeting was held here at Fresh Meals On Wheels. Attendees then had the chance to enjoy a moment in our Sensory Garden on the new Willow Creek Overlook. Thank you for your partnership!
