“Unfortunately, I’ve just learned that a number of signatures on my petition weren’t counted. As a result, I won’t be able to appear on the ballot for this primary.

This is disappointing, but I’m incredibly grateful for the outpouring of support, encouragement, and hard work from so many of you—whether you signed, shared, donated, or just believed in what we were building. Your belief in getting career politicians out meant the world to me.

While this chapter is closing sooner than expected, my commitment to Ohio district 5 hasn’t wavered. I’ll keep fighting for these values in other ways and hope our paths cross again soon.
