🌟 Celebrating Two Outstanding Sheffield Lake Student-Athletes! 🌟
The City of Sheffield Lake was proud to recognize recent graduates Bella Diaz and Avery Davis with City Commendations honoring their dedication, achievements, and success in athletics and academics.
🏀 Bella Diaz was recognized for signing with Ohio Northern University to continue her basketball career at the collegiate level. Bella’s dedication, perseverance, discipline, and commitment to excellence have earned her this incredible opportunity. Her accomplishments on the basketball court, along with her commitment to her education, have made her an inspiration to her teammates, classmates, and the entire Sheffield Lake community. We are excited to see all she accomplishes in this next chapter!
🏃‍♀️ Avery Davis was recognized for her outstanding accomplishments in track and field at Miami University. Avery has demonstrated tremendous dedication and determination throughout her athletic career, reaching the state finals multiple times and earning the title of State Champion. Her hard work, perseverance, and commitment to excellence have made her a tremendous example for young athletes in our community.
The City of Sheffield Lake is incredibly proud of both Bella and Avery. Their achievements are a reflection of the hard work, determination, and dedication they have put into their passions. We are honored to celebrate these two exceptional young women and wish them continued success as they pursue their goals! ❤️💙👏

🗑️ DUMPSTERS AVAILABLE FOR RESIDENTS THIS WEEKEND! 🗑️
The City will have two dumpsters available for Sheffield Lake residents to use this weekend to help with cleanup following the City-Wide Yard Sale.
✅ Residential use only
🚫 No commercial or business dumping
These dumpsters are provided for residents who are cleaning up after the yard sale weekend. Please do not use the dumpsters to dispose of business or commercial materials.
⚠️ Businesses or commercial users who illegally dump in the dumpsters will be billed by the City.
Please help us keep this service available for our residents by using the dumpsters responsibly.
Thank you for helping keep Sheffield Lake clean! 💙

🌳 SERVICE DEPARTMENT CHIPPER NOTICE 🌳
A reminder to residents: Please remove all roots, dirt, and mud from branches before placing them out for chipping.
The Service Department will not chip material that still has roots, dirt, or mud attached. Dirt and mud can damage and dull the chipper blades, creating unnecessary maintenance and safety issues.
👉 If roots, dirt, or mud are still attached, the material will be left unchipped.
Please take a few extra minutes to remove or clean the material before putting it out. We appreciate your cooperation and help in keeping the city’s chipping service running safely and efficiently!

You may notice temporary water discoloration or lower pressure while this is happening. Please avoid doing laundry until the water clears.
