Colbert County will have a parade this Saturday August 1st at 0900. They are Celebrating the 250th Birthday of our Nation. We will be participating in the Parade. If anyone wants to join in, please be at the Deshler High School parking lot at 0900. Semper Fidelis

Due to recent rains the flow rate of the creek is at a high rate and given 65% chance of thunderstorms on Friday night I’ve decided to cancel the kayak trip. Safety comes first and I believe the water will too much for young and or new kayakers. We will reschedule or a later date.
