Reminding everyone to enjoy and participate in the rest of the week for Show Me Shelby County. We have had some good attendance and some not o good. LOL Homemade pizza tonight at the Bethel Bakery serving begins at 5pm and then attend the Gospel Music Show at the Bethel Christian Church beginning at 630pm.
Tomorrow, Thursday, will be a filled day beginning with a tour and history of the Hawkins theater at 10am followed by a tour of the Shelbyville Courthouse, Lunch at the Shelbyville Inn, and end the day at the Shelbina Senior Center with a pie supper and fiddle music and even dancing if you feel like it.
Friday is also an entertaining day in Clarence. The Historical Museum will be open from 3 to 5pm. Silver Wings band will perform on the stage in the park and CYMO's will be serving their famous hamburgers.
Saturday and Sunday Fireworks are on hold until further notice. If we get some much needed rain, maybe fireworks will happen. Stay tuned!!
Sunday has been canceled. So there will not be church at the lake or any Gospel show. Attend your regular church and attend the gospel show on Wednesday night in Bethel.
Thank you to everyone who has participated and learned more about what Shelby County has to offer.

10:00 am to 1:00 pm
The event allows Shelby County residents the opportunity to know what is available in their own back yard. This includes businesses and agencies that offer resources in Shelby County.
This is a win win opportunity -- Promotion for the business/agency and information for the attendee.
Encouraged to attend are agencies that cover Shelby County with their resources. One example is the VITA program offering free tax preparation, which some residents may not be aware.
You may set up on Friday by appointment or Saturday morning after 8:30am

The Shelby County Economic Development will be hosting a Resource and Business Fair this Spring. The tentative date is set for March 2, 2019. The date is tentative pending any other community events planned for the same day. This is similar to the Business Expo held in years past. A bit of a new emphasis will be on available resources for the community. The Expo has always been open to agencies and organizations serving the community and this year we'd like to expand this aspect. If you plan to participate, please shoot me an email so I can gain an understanding of interest. If not enough interest, the event will not be held. Thank you so much. Wendy

Shelby County was well represented at the Hoots game on Sunday. The young players each received a regulation baseball, were on the field during the National Anthem, received free admission & snacks and got autographs from the players. What a fun day.
