We could use a helping hand!
Many of our fire hydrants are covered in snow banks. When time is of the essence, hard to find hydrants take up precious time to clear.
Please help us help you by shoveling out any hydrants that are near your house.
Thank you for your assistance in keeping our community safe

It winter time again.
If you have a fire hydrant near your residence, help us help you and please shovel around them after snowstorms.
Snow covered hydrants are hard to find and can slow our response time if we have to shovel them out.
Remember a clear hydrant is a happy hydrant!

Thank you to all of our mutual aid departments, without being able to work together so well, the outcome would have been so much worse.

Fire Chief Herb Guyette is urging residents to check their smoke detectors and chimneys after responding to a third-alarm chimney fire at 96 Main Street on Monday night, which was caused by a malfunction or debris buildup and could have been much worse if the smoke alarm had not been working.

We will be supporting this great cause again this year. Please come out and donate a new toy to those in need.
