Flashback Friday!

DWI Enforcement Patrol – Mid 1990s

Left to Right:
Kendrew (Essex PD), Marcoux (Hinesburg PD), Leblanc (Shelburne PD), Clark (Milton PD), Centabar (Milton PD), Fournier (Colchester PD), Milles (South Burlington PD), and Young (Burlington PD).

A great photo of agencies working together to keep our roads safe.

One thing that makes this picture even more interesting—Kendrew, Marcoux, and Centabar all now work at the Sheriff's Office. Funny how careers come full circle!

Week beginning July 6:

Road closure on Bay Road on the north side of the LaPlatte River during the day is expected, depending on ground/drilling conditions. There will be no impact during the Independence Day weekend. Boater access to the Shelburne Bay Access will be from Harbor Road while this closure is in effect.

Happy Birthday, USA! That's a lot of candles to blow out.

We wish everyone a happy and safe holiday.

Don't drink and drive this holiday weekend and leave the pyrotechnics to the professionals.
