Join us on Wednesday, May 27 at 7:00pm for an author talk with Vermont author, Stephen P. Kiernan, celebrating his new novel, Po***ck’s Last Lover: A Novel of Art and Deception.

Set in New York City across the 1950s and early 2000s, the novel follows two women whose lives intersect through the legacy of painter Jackson Po***ck. When a woman claims to possess his final painting, worth millions, a young auction house associate is tasked with verifying its authenticity, uncovering deeper questions of ambition, power, and artistic legacy.

Copies of the book will be available for purchase.

Meet a children’s book legend at the Pierson Library! Join us on Saturday, May 9 at 10:00am for a very special morning with beloved author and illustrator Rosemary Wells, creator of the cherished Max & Ruby series, Voyage to the Bunny Planet, Moving Up, and her newest book, The Little Chefs!

Families will enjoy, a delightful storytime, a fun activity for young readers, and a chance to meet Rosemary Wells during the book signing.

Hey Shelburne! Let's get shredding! Come on down to the library's back parking lot today (5/2/26) from 10:00am-1:00pm for our annual free shred event and computer recycling.

Each vehicle can bring up to five boxes for document shredding, and for computer recycling, you can bring up to five hard drives and up to five desktops or laptops.
