Family Fun Night is this Sunday, August 30th from 7pm-9pm at Seltzer Pool and is free admission to all Shelby families. With the wonderful temperature and weather we’ve had since we went back to school, the water feels great! We are are open both this weekend (Saturday/Sunday) and next weekend (Saturday/Sunday/Monday) for our regular hours from 11:30 AM to 6:30 PM to close out the summer swim season! Come enjoy, Shelby families!

FYI: Seltzer Pool is open every weekend through Labor Day, 11:30-6:30. Come enjoy these last days of summer!

The Shelby Education Association has sponsored a back to school swim at Seltzer Pool from 5:00 to 7:15 PM on Monday, August 17. Please be aware due to the possibility of large numbers of participants, specific groups will be designated an hour to swim. This will be for school-age children, and one accompanying adult only…unfortunately this is not a whole family swim invite. To be able to entertain these numbers of swimmers, we invite from 5 to 6 PM, incoming kindergarten through second grade students to swim. The bell will ring promptly at 6 o’clock for all swimmers to vacate the pool area so that the next group can enter the gates and participate from 6:15 to 7:15 pm.
The second group invited will be all 3rd through 5th grade Shelby elementary students from 6:15-7:15 pm. Concessions stand will be available for anyone wanting to purchase food items too! Again this is not a family date for swimming…K-5 aged students only due to us needing to limit the number of participants. Come enjoy the evening thanks to the sponsorship of the SEA!
