Good Evening, Jefferson families!

We had a wonderful first day of school at the Hive! There was so much excitement in the building to have our students returning, and we look forward to the rest of the week and year ahead!

Please see the map below as a reminder of our morning car rider drop off system. Staff will be present with stop signs daily to help students unload safely, and you can use either lane to let your students out. Please make sure your students are ready to go with their belongings to unload as quickly as possible to keep our line moving! Finally, please remember to leave the front circle open for buses only.

Thank you for all your support and for a wonderful start to the school year! We will see you tomorrow!

We are delighted that our new outdoor classroom benches, tables, shade sail and sensory garden are in place for the 2026-2027 school year! Thank you to our Jefferson families, community supporters, and 46th annual Spaghetti Supper volunteers + supporters who rallied around this project that fosters outdoor opportunities for growth. Please take a moment to visit our K-1 playground and 2-5 courtyard/playground to see these new outdoor learning spaces for yourselves when you come to Orientation tomorrow.

Extra special thanks to Kristin and Cameron Kane, Will Meekins, Joe Wilson, Bruce Moser, and Wes Stewart for putting our outdoor furniture together. Lilly Schletty, former Jefferson Bee and Girl Scout, has done a beautiful job leading the addition of our beautiful sensory garden. We are grateful to all who have poured into making it all happen!

During our first week of school, join other men and women from our community to help welcome Jefferson’s students to a new year and a future filled with possibility.

The first day of school is August 12, 2023. Beginning August 13, we invite you to select a day to SUIT UP and SHOW UP, welcome students and show them that they have the support of our community! The Golden Ticket odds are looking great for these Jefferson families! We will draw our Golden Ticket winner for the first nine weeks on Thursday, August 13.

Your $10 entry in our Golden Ticket raffle gives you a chance to win access to a special parking spot during the first nine weeks (Aug. 12 - Oct. 9). The Golden Ticket allows you to dodge the car rider line and pick up your Bee in front of the school daily.

Will you have an afternoon car rider this year? A $10 entry in our Golden Ticket raffle gives you a chance to win access to a special parking spot during the first nine weeks (Aug. 13 - Oct. 9). Our Bees will soon buzz back to the Hive and we would love help greeting everyone during the first few days of school. We invite Bee families and members of our community to Suit Up and Show Up to give high fives, hugs, and/or fist bumps as our bus and car riders enter the building. Come dressed in your work attire to remind our students that the possibilities for their future careers are endless!
