Friends of the Library helps with fundraising events for special needs and projects, and facilitates both Shelby and Sunburst Libraries with goals and projects that exceed the county budget.

The Book Sale is on its way back later this spring! We want to make this one our biggest and best yet, but we need more space than the library can spare! We are on the lookout for a space that would be willing to house the book sale for an extended period of time. February is the month of love, and there's nothing we love more than helping our library! 😍 To do that, our very own Stephanie Gullixson put together this fantastic movie date themed gift basket that will be raffled at the library for the month of February. Be sure to stop in quickly, we will only be selling tickets until the 28th of this month! Tickets are only $5 each, and are available at the library any time! 😘

Congratulations to Sara White for winning our Christmas Quilt Raffle! 👏👏

Special shout out to Mary Chamberlain for her generous quilt donation, but more importantly, thank you to all who chose to support the library this holiday season by buying tickets or donating. We plan to split the funds raised by the raffle to both our building expansion fund to eventually expand the library. As well as our general fund to support miscellaneous library projects. Come to the Friends of the Library meeting next Thursday, January 9th if you're interested in learning more! 😁
