Some questions have came up as to why we have decided to extend the helmet raffle. Due to COVID-19 and the time frame we had to sell tickets, we weren’t able to pay for the helmet. But to stay true to our word we will go ahead with the original deadline (November 15, 2020) and do the drawing on Facebook live @ 6:00pm.

For anyone that is participating or planning on participating in the raffle, we are extending the drawing date to Decemb...

Thank you Pleasant City Church for inviting us. We had a blast!

Today was a wonderful day full of connection, love, yummy treats, family time and lots of fun! Our families ROCK. We safely wore our masks - had lots to do spread out around our campus - we enjoyed the fellowship and watched our little ones smile! Great day!!

Let us think of ways to motivate one another to acts of love and good works. And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of his return is drawing near.”

Our hearts go out to our brothers and sisters in Clayton.
09/24/2020

Our hearts go out to our brothers and sisters in Clayton.

It is with profound sadness, the Clayton Fire Department announces the passing of Deputy Chief of Operations & Training Jason Dean.

This beloved 20-year veteran of our firefighting family died overnight after a hard fight against the complications of COVID-19.

Jason was just 42 and is survived by his wife of 16+ years, Kristy, and his two beautiful daughters, 13-year-old Addie and 7-year-old Harper. The entire Town of Clayton family sends its deepest and most sincere condolences to the Dean family. We ask that everyone respect their privacy at this time of mourning. They would not like any visitors at this time, nor should flowers or other items be brought to the family or the fire stations. We also ask that you understand and respect that his fellow firefighters must go on serving the community despite this terrible loss…that’s what Jason would want.

Funeral and memorial arrangements are being finalized and details will be shared as soon as possible. The Clayton Fire Department and the Dean family can’t say enough about how much they have appreciated the community’s support and prayers in the past few weeks. Please continue to share your well-wishes. Donations to the Clayton Firefighters Association can be made in honor of Jason and will be given to the Dean family and the other Clayton firefighter and spouse who are still battling COVID-19.
