Enjoy live entertainment, the Levitt AMP Shelbyville Music Series, a Patriotic Parade, Time Capsule Burial, and activities for all ages as we celebrate the freedoms and opportunities that make our nation great.

Bring your family, bring your lawn chairs, and come ready to celebrate under the stars on Historic Downtown Shelbyville Square.

The inner courthouse parking lot will close at 4 p.m. Friday and will remain closed on Saturday to allow setup for Saturday night's "Hometown Heroes and Harmony" concert, which will be presented by United Veterans Bedford and Freedom Sings USA.

Top Nashville songwriters will travel to Bedford County this weekend, talk to local veterans, and write songs based on their stories. The songs will then be performed at a public concert on Saturday night. School of Rock, from Nashville, will perform at 5 p.m. Saturday, followed by the main event at 6 p.m.

The public is encouraged to attend the concert; please bring camp chairs or folding chairs.
