CALLING ALL REENACTORS - we need your help to share history with the public. We have been asked to provide some demonstrations on the 4th of July for The Outlet Shoppes of the Bluegrass. If you can spare an hour or so to provide any demo listed or any other, please let us know. We will appear July 3rd from 5 - 9 pm and have a cannon demo during that time, and again on July 4th from 3 - 9 pm. It may seem a bit odd for us to be at the mall, but it is a great opportunity to educate the public and share our passion for history, especially for America's 250th birthday. Please share and let us know if you are interested.

While the Revolutionary War was being fought, many settlers were carving out a living at Painted Stone and forging ahead with plans for Independence.
