❤️💙 It’s time for our 2nd Annual Southwestern Elementary Walk-a-Thon! 💙❤️

Student Council is excited to kick off one of our favorite fundraisers! The best part? The money raised goes right back to our students by helping fund Spartan Way reward experiences and supporting our classrooms.

👟 Walk-a-Thon: September 30th
💰 Student Goal: $75
📅 Money & pledge forms due: September 25th

And of course... there are PRIZES! 🎉 Students can earn Spartan gear, extra recess, a Spartan basketball, gift cards, lunch with friends, and our overall top fundraiser gets to be SUPERINTENDENT FOR THE DAY with Dr. Wilkins + a $100 Walmart gift card OR a NEW BIKE! 🤯🚲

Every dollar counts, so whether it's $5 from Grandma, $10 from a neighbor, or a few dollars from a family friend—it all adds up! ❤️

Join us tonight at Community Night. It will be hot, but come enjoy fun activities, food, and soccer! Senior Post Prom Committee will be selling pulled pork dinners! Thank you to Mel’s Catering for generously donating the pork for our fundraiser!

Due to the heat, We are going to push the Community Night Activities back an hour. Here is our new timeline of events for this evening:

4:30 pm Gates Open to spectators

5:55-6:00 — Jr. High Soccer Lineups

6:00 — KICK OFF JR HIGH SOCCER vs Hauser

6:30-6:40 — HALFTIME

7:05pm — HOMECOMING COURT meets on the track

7:10 pm — End of Jr. High Soccer Match

7:20 pm — HOMECOMING Court introduced

7:30-7:50 — Varsity warm-ups

7:50 pm — Starting Lineups for Varsity game

8 pm — Kick off Varsity Soccer vs Hauser

8:40pm — Halftime Varsity Game; Cheer/School Song, Introduce Fall Athletes

9:00 pm — Varsity 2nd Half Starts

9:40 pm -- End of Varsity Soccer Match

10:00 pm — Night Concludes; Please clean up your area and place tables/chairs against the building.

The Southwestern FFA has opened their appeal store now through September 10th.

Men’s, women’s, and youth sizes are available, as well as a big and tall section with sizes from LT-4XLT!
