The Louisville Area Extension Homemakers hosted a second Creative Writing Workshop, focusing on poetry this time. Taught again by local published children's author and Shelby County Homemaker member, Carol June Franks. Thank you, Carol, for leading an excellent class, full of brainstorming, creativity, ideas, practice writing, and great discussion! Thanks also to Cindy Moore, Henry County Homemaker member, who serves as our KEHA/State and Louisville Area Chairperson for Cultural Arts and Heritage, as she had the original idea for these workshops. Members are encouraged to enter in the KEHA/State Creative Writing Contest. We will share a separate post specifically about that contest.
