National Preparedness Month continues!

Whether it's a household, municipality, county, state, or nationwide, a key aspect of being prepared is knowing your risks.

EMA's across the country prepare for the worst by understanding the hazards our communities might face and it's the same for homeowners.

Having a basic home emergency plan ensures that you'll be ready if and when you need it. Take the time to think about your safety, the safety of your loved ones, and your neighbors.

September is National Preparedness Month!

Preparedness starts at home, with you.

Is your household ready if an emergency happens? Take time today to create and practice an emergency plan so everyone knows what to do, including children!

Pick a safe place to meet
Assign responsibilities
Practice how to leave safely
Make a plan on how to stay in touch

During this month, I will be posting information to bring awareness to our community about how you can be prepared for disasters.

We're all in this together.

Thank you!
