Despite the rain, our school-wide Field Day still went on today — we just moved the fun inside! Even with the weather, students had a great day making memories together. The 5th grade tradition of the fire truck spraying still carried on through the rain, and we also celebrated our Kiwanis Student of the Month award winners. At Clear Creek Elementary we value academics and the importance of a strong education, but we also believe it is just as important to help prepare students for life after school and encourage them to discover their passions.

Today was our Passion Class Exhibition Day, where parents were invited to come in and see all the hard work students have been creating and learning throughout the school year. From hands-on projects to creative activities, students had the opportunity to showcase their interests, talents, and growth.

Our Passion Classes give students opportunities to explore interests, build new skills, and grow confidence in areas they truly enjoy. We love seeing our students learn, create, and discover what inspires them! 💙

Our Related Arts Night was a huge success! 🎨🎶🏃✏️

Families enjoyed walking through student artwork displays, listening to our Kindergarten and 1st grade musical performances, and seeing all the fun skills students have been learning in PE. Ms. Brooks also showcased a wonderful variety of student writing pieces from across the grade levels.

We are so proud of our students and thankful for our teachers who work hard every day to help our students learn, grow, and shine! 💙

First graders went to the Kentucky Science Museum to learn more about science, technology and engineering. Many first graders collaborated together to achieve a common goal! They were hands-on in exhibits working on different things like building new structures, using creativity to create new innovations, and water play to encourage scientific exploration. So proud of our third-grade mathematicians at Clear Creek Elementary! 🌟🧠 They just kicked off their new geometry unit in math and are already showing off their teamwork and creativity. Students worked together in small groups to design posters about special quadrilaterals—parallelograms, squares, trapezoids, or rhombuses. Each group presented their poster to the class, explaining what makes their quadrilateral unique. Their confidence, collaboration, and math vocabulary were on full display!
