The Shelby County Purdue Extension Office is closed on Wednesday, August 12, 2026. Our office is closed due to a power outage we intend to open tomorrow Thursday, August 13. Phones at the office are also down at this time.

Our Junior Leaders went above and beyond to make Mini 4-H Camp a success! 💚🍀

Before camp, our Junior Leaders participated in a counselor training where they planned activities, prepared crafts and supplies, and created fun decorations to welcome our Mini 4-H members. On camp day, they stepped into leadership roles, guiding activities, encouraging campers, and helping create a fun, positive experience for everyone.

A special thank you to Junior Leader Ashlyn for handcrafting the beautiful welcome banner that greeted our Mini 4-H campers. It was the perfect touch to kick off an amazing day!

We are so thankful for the time, creativity, and leadership of all our Junior Leaders. Their dedication made Mini 4-H Camp a memorable experience, and we're proud to have such an outstanding group of young leaders representing Shelby County 4-H! 👏💚

🎉 Congratulations to our Shelby County 4-H Junior Leaders on another successful year!

To celebrate all of their hard work, dedication, and leadership, six of our Junior Leaders—Gabe, Ryan, Addie, Aiden, Pipar, and Jackson—enjoyed an Achievement Trip to Urban Air! From climbing and jumping to plenty of laughs along the way, everyone had a great time celebrating an outstanding year together.

Thank you for all you do to make Shelby County 4-H a stronger program. We can't wait to see what you'll accomplish next! 🍀💚
