Our early learners are building more than academic skills—they’re building strong little hands and growing stamina! 💛

Through cutting, coloring, playdough, puzzles, threading, and hands-on activities, our students are strengthening their fine motor skills, hand muscles, coordination, focus, and perseverance.

We’ve officially completed our first 3 days of preschool, and what a wonderful start it has been! 🍎

These first few days are all about building a strong foundation. Our little learners have been getting to know their teachers, making new friends, learning classroom expectations and routines, and discovering what it means to be part of our preschool family.

Every smile, new friendship, and small accomplishment is helping lay the groundwork for a year filled with confidence, curiosity, kindness, and learning. We are so proud of how our students have embraced this exciting new adventure!

What an incredible start to the school year! Our classrooms were filled with smiles, curiosity, laughter, and the excitement that only the first day of school can bring.

A special thank you goes to our amazing Early Learning teachers and staff. From welcoming nervous little learners with open arms to creating engaging, nurturing classrooms where every child feels safe and loved, they truly make the magic happen.

To our families, thank you for trusting us with your precious children. We are honored to be part of their journey and can’t wait to watch them learn, grow, and shine throughout the year.

Our staff is ready to welcome everyone back to school tomorrow morning! Please remember that tomorrow, Wednesday, August 5th, is an early release day for all Shelby Eastern students. Dismissal times are as follows:

● Early Learning: 2:00 PM
● Elementary (K-5): 2:30 PM
● Secondary (6-12): 2:40 PM

All schedules should now be visible in the Parent-Student PowerSchool Portal. If you notice an issue with your child's schedule, please email your school counselor.

Meet our Preschool teachers Miss Niki (MES) and Miss Allison (WES). They will welcome our 3 year old students with excitement and love.

Both teachers ensure classroom success by providing structure and patience with their kiddos. The developmentally appropriate fun they provide in the classroom is amazing and something everyone wants to be apart of!
