Magic the Gathering is a card game that builds important skills such as critical thinking, problem solving, reading and math, as well as cultivating social skills. Magic the Gathering also promotes an inclusive environment for those that enjoy playing games that require quick thinking and decision making. During this event, participants will learn how to read and interpret the cards, the basics of gameplay and deckbuilding, as well as make a starter deck to bring home to continue playing with. This event is designed specifically for those that are brand new to Magic the Gathering and want to learn how to play. Special thanks to for providing the resources needed to make this program happen!
