• 2025 1899 hours

Had joint training with S**T, Hosted an auto extrication day with area fire departments. Held a controlled burn of a house and barn this summer during that training we’re able to train with the neighboring towns. At the two monthly meetings, we do at least two hours of training on various fire topics which is mostly hands on training. The 1899 hours of training is only in house training and does not include when a fire fighter goes to other towns or area fire schools.

On Saturday September 13, members of the dept spent the day testing all the fire hose to NFPA standards. That means taking all the hose off the trucks, tested, and then loading it back on the truck. A total of 16,233 feet or 3.07 miles of hose was tested.

Put into service a special response trailer that carries Hazmat supplies, grain rescue tubes, equipment and trench rescue tools and supplies. Continued to update the training center outdoor lighting. Finished up on a nozzle project by updating to the same brand and type of nozzles on all the trucks. Replaced fire hose.

Current membership is at 32, We would like to thank all the employers that allow us to leave work when needed to respond to a call. A heart felt thank you to our families that allow us to devote the time needed.
