🚓 From the Desk of Interim Police Chief Shell Lake Police Department Mike Jaszczak

I wanted to take a moment to reach out to inform our community and express my sincerest gratitude to Marianne Rigby. Marianne has done an exceptional amount of volunteer work and exhibited incredible dedication to the Shell Lake Police Foundation. Marianne has decided to step down as President of the Shell Lake Police Foundation after many years of dedicated service to our community. Marianne has put in countless hours supporting not only the Shell Lake Police Foundation and the Shell Lake Police Department, but other organizations within this community. She has inspired many, myself included, with her energy, enthusiasm and drive to get things done!

Marianne is always willing to contribute to our organization and others without hesitation. While I have not known Marianne as long as many of you, I have quickly come to recognize she is an amazing person with a heart as big as a house! The Shell Lake Police Foundation has been an absolute necessity to the Shell Lake Police Department; It has allowed us to obtain equipment to improve operations of our department and officers, including ballistic vests, fi****ms, ammunition, and a host of other items. In addition, Marianne and the Foundation have supported all our local law enforcement agencies by assisting with various events, and in recent times, making donations to families of fallen officers.

Marianne truly embodies the spirit of community and is a shining example of how impactful one thoughtful, caring individual can be. She will be missed as part of the leadership within the Shell Lake Police Foundation. Please help me, Officer Greisen, and Officer Kapanke in giving a huge “THANK YOU” to Marianne for all she has accomplished.

Marianne, from the bottom of my heart, I want to personally thank you for all that you have done and continue to do for me, for our officers, for our police department, and for our entire community!

In addition to Marianne, I want to extend my gratitude to the entire Shell Lake Police Foundation for their continued service and for the support you have provided and continue to provide. You are an incredible group that I cannot thank enough! It does not go unnoticed!

The Shell Lake Police Foundation is in need of volunteers for activities related to fundraising, presentations to the community, assisting youth in the community, and supporting the Shell Lake Police Department in a number of ways. If you are interested in being a part of the Shell Lake Police Foundation, please reach out to any of the Foundation members, or contact the Shell Lake Police Department.

All the Best,

Mike Jaszczak
