🚨🚨🏈 2026 SRO TEAM ROSTER UPDATE 🏈🚨🚨

The Shelley SRO Team has made another late-season roster move!

🏈 ROSTER TRANSACTION:
➡️ OUT: Officer C. Underhill — Returning to regular assignment
➡️ IN: Officer B. Burch — Temporary SRO Assignment
➡️ Contract: A few weeks
➡️ Position: School Resource Officer

Officer Burch is stepping onto the field for the next few weeks and will be working with our students and staff while the SRO roster makes another temporary adjustment.

Welcome to the SRO squad, Officer Burch! We’re glad to have you on the team! 🏈👮‍♂️

And to Officer Underhill—thank you for stepping up and putting in the work. Your willingness to jump into a new role and serve our schools is exactly what being part of the team is all about.

We have received reports of raccoons in our area showing these symptoms. Please be aware with your dogs outside.

Over the last three weeks, Idaho Fish and Game Southeast Region personnel have been responding to numerous public reports of “sick” raccoons in the Pocatello and Chubbuck areas. Here is what we know.

Unfortunately due to the weather forecasted at 9pm, we are going to cancel movie in the park again.

On August 27th, shortly after 4 pm, Shelley Officers and Shelley EMS were dispatched to a vehicle versus pedestrian crash in the area of Hanson Ave. and Walnut St. Officers arrived in the area and assisted EMS with the juvenile victim’s non-life threatening injuries. The juvenile was then transported to a local hospital. The investigation into the accident is on-going and no further information will be released at this time.

Officer J.Pacheco is BACK!!!
Officer J.Pacheco has returned for another year in the schools. If your kiddo’s have been in Riverview, Stuart or Hobbs, you have probably heard of him. He is known for his energy, passion to educate kids, and always willing to laugh and joke. If you catch him in the halls the kids all want to give him high fives and tell him about their day.
