Big changes coming soon to our water tower. Soon you'll be noticing crews giving our "navigational beacon" a new look as they transform our iconic blue tower to a more up to date look.

Garbage and yard waste week. Please have the carts out by 6am Monday and off the road within 24 hours of pick up.

Here's another round of info for our upcoming garbage hauler change. Things to note: Monday pick up still
Recycle and yard waste are the same rotation as now
NO GLASS in the recycling, garbage or find another option
Continue to use the same carts until we hear otherwise

City council members voted to double the annual donation this year for the 4th of July fireworks. There’s no better way to celebrate the holiday than right here in town with Shellsburg Iowa July 4th Fireworks!
