🗳️ PLEASE CHECK YOUR BALLOT STATUS

If the information I have is correct, there are still approximately 9,000 ballots remaining to be counted in Mason County.

With the number of hiccups and concerns that seem to have surfaced throughout this election process, I find it difficult to simply shrug my shoulders and move on. Voters deserve confidence that every eligible ballot is received, processed, and counted correctly.

If you voted for me …. and really, regardless of who you voted for … please check your ballot status through Washington’s official VoteWA system.

Make sure your ballot shows as received and accepted. If it was challenged or rejected, find out why. If the issue can be corrected, follow the instructions and deadlines necessary to make sure your vote is counted.

This post is not about changing an election result. It is about accountability, transparency, and making sure every legitimate vote counts.

Please check. And if something doesn’t look right, ask questions and follow up.

Thank you, Mason County.

The voters have spoken, and while this was not the outcome I had hoped for, I respect the process and congratulate the candidates moving forward. I wish you all the best in the general election.

To everyone who supported me, volunteered, donated, prayed, shared my posts, put up signs, opened your doors, and believed in me … thank you from the bottom of my heart. Your encouragement and friendship meant more than words can express.

One thing this election has reinforced for me is how much every single vote matters. As of today, 9,289 ballots have been counted in Mason County, and these are unofficial results, more ballots will still be counted before certification. Even so, voter participation remains relatively low, and local elections are often decided by small margins.

I also believe our community has experienced significant political division. My hope is that, after the primary, we can remember that we are all neighbors first. Whether we agree or disagree, Mason County is strongest when we treat one another with respect and stay engaged in the process.

Although this chapter has ended differently than I hoped, my commitment to this community has not. Public service has always been about people, not titles, and I will continue looking for ways to contribute and serve.

Thank you for allowing me the privilege of earning your trust and sharing this journey with you. It has truly been an honor.

Voting Week is Here.

This campaign has never been just about an election. It has been about people.

Over the past several months, I have knocked on doors, attended community events, answered tough questions, and had conversations with people from every walk of life. I have listened far more than I have spoken, and I am grateful for every person who took the time to share their concerns, their hopes, and their ideas for Mason County.

No matter how you vote, I hope you vote.

If you choose to place your trust in me, I will work every day to earn it!

DID YOU KNOW?!

The County Auditor does NOT decide how taxpayer money is spent; that is the responsibility of the County Commissioners through the budget process. The Auditor Office helps ensure taxpayer dollars are accurately accounted for, lawfully processed, and transparently and (hopefully) accurately reported. My role would be to safeguard the integrity of the county’s financial records and make sure the public can trust how public funds are managed.

Thank you to everyone who came out to our Meet & Greet. Your support, your questions, and your encouragement meant more than you know.

It was great getting to meet new faces, reconnect with friends, and hear what matters most to the people of Mason County. Those conversations are the best part of this journey, and they reinforce why public service is so important to me.

Thank you to everyone who helped organize, volunteered, brought food, and made the event such a success. It takes a community, and I am incredibly grateful for ours. Eric, thank you for putting this awesome event together - I received nothing but positive feedback all morning!!

We are getting closer to Election Day, and I am excited for what lies ahead. I will continue working hard to earn your trust and your vote.
