Please join us in welcoming Shelby Noullet as our new Native Ed Para Tech for the Shelton School District!

Shelby will be serving Shelton High School, Oakland Bay Jr. High School, Cedar High School, and CHOICE Middle & High School. Originally from Wichita, Kansas, Shelby moved to Shelton two years ago. With four years of experience working in behavioral education within a school district and active involvement in Native outreach programs, Shelby brings a wealth of knowledge and dedication to supporting students. In addition to professional experience, Shelby also volunteered with MAAIM, which provided deeper insight into the diverse tribes in the area and fostered a greater appreciation for both the unique differences and shared connections within local communities. Shelby is excited to contribute both personally and professionally to the Shelton School District this year.

Friends of Cedar is our version of a PTSO. They have been working hard to help folks learn more about our unique school. Sometime we are hard to define. We're not an alternative school. We're not a specific academy model. We are a high school option in the Shelton School District for students and families that value a project-based education where all students are your co-workers and the community is your classroom.

Can you believe its time to think about 26-27? The Friends of Cedar High School group ( cedarhigh.school) is a nonprofit community building resource for the growth and development of Cedar. Former students, families, educators, community members, current and incoming students and families are all welcome and encouraged to join together
August 12th, 5pm-6:30pm, Luanne's Portable. Come to the 1st portable/counseling center for directions and an es**rt if needed.
