We love when we are all together!

We recognized many amazing employees for their years of dedication and service. It's wonderful to see the commitment our team brings to making Pioneer School such a special place!

We are excited to introduce Isabella Azatassou, RN, our new District School Nurse!

Many Pioneer families may already recognize Isabella. She and her husband have been active members of the Pioneer community for several years, and their own children attend our schools. Stepping into the role of District Nurse is a natural extension of Isabella’s connection to and care for our Pioneer community. Isabella brings 13 years of nursing experience, including a background in pediatric home health. Her professional experience, along with her perspective as a Pioneer parent, supports her commitment to helping our students stay safe, healthy, and ready to learn.

As District Nurse, Isabella looks forward to partnering with families and staff to create a welcoming and collaborative health environment for our students. Families are always encouraged to reach out to her with school-related health questions or information that may help us better support their child.

Please join us in welcoming Isabella to her new role! We are excited to have her experience, care, and connection to our community supporting Pioneer students and families.

Over the last two days, many of our Pioneer elementary teachers attended a Project G.L.A.D. workshop!

Project GLAD (Guided Language Acquisition Design) is a K–12 instructional model featuring research-based strategies that develop academic language alongside grade-level content.

We will use many of the strategies we learned to strengthen our curriculum. The teachers are excited to get started!
