West Mahanoy Township was awarded grant money for police equipment through the the Commonwealth of Pa Department of Community and Development Local Share Grant. The Township have put up one of their six safety signs awarded in order to help slow down traffic on State Route 924 approaching the intersection entering Shenandoah Heights.

Congratulations to the Shenandoah Heights Fire Company for winning the best Brush Truck and Best UTV at the Fireman’s convention in Barnesville. Firefirefighters took a lot of Pride polishing the trucks to win the competition. Shenandoah Heights Fire Co.
