With June 21st being considered the first day of summer and the extreme temperatures we’ve had already K9 Remmi would like to give a couple reminders and tips of how to keep your pet safe during the summer.

Never leave your pet outside for extended periods. If they are outside make sure they have access to shade and fresh water.

Always provide access to water. Water should be left in shade to keep cool. Change and refill water bowls every 1-2 hours to keep water cool.

Your pet can get a sunburn.

And last but not least never leave your pet in a vehicle.
