The month of May was a busy month for your local volunteer fire company, especially the past week, with crews handling a severe crash, and assisting Elkton Volunteer Fire Company with 2 structure fires. All incidents was handled 100% by volunteers. We thank our mutual aid partners, Elkton and Stanley Fire for their assistance on these critical incidents.

Recently members assisted Rudy’s Diner with operating the cook shack at the Shenandoah Speedway. In return Rudy’s Diner, donated a Milwaukee combo kit including a chainsaw, 2 batteries and charger for our rescue engine. Support local as these businesss are always giving back.

Sorry for the delayed post in regards to our Memorial Day Raffle, the winning ticket was drawn Saturday night of our event by a member of the band. The winning ticket was number 0227, Vicki. The 50/50 raffle was drawn right after our raffle with winning ticket number 5016831, Fidler, the winner of the 50/50 donated their half back to the fire company. Thanks for your continued support.
