Please Share: Verizon has had a major network failure that is affecting multiple 911 centers. 911 calls may not go through or are being routed to a National Call Center in Canada. Also the Schuylkill Comm Center non emergency lines are also down. If you have an emergency , please go to your nearest fire station if you are unable to connect to 911 via phone.

Update: landlines are up and working, cellphone still not working, if you are not able to 911 Defender Hose Co will be man until we hear cellphone are working right.

Members and officer if Defender Hose Fire Company would like to thank all that came out today for 68th annual Schuylkill County Firefighters Association Convention. We hope all had a great time and enjoyed yourself.

We had a great help from many people, Shenandoah, all of the judges, all of Shenandoah Borough Fire Department and so many others.

We will be posting a list of winners in coming days.

Members and officers would like to thank all that stop by for our mug night. Delegates dinner is Wednesday September 7 at 630 PM. Dinner is at Columbia Hose and Stream Fire Engine Company No 1 at 742 West Centre Street Shenandoah. We will have mugs fir sale at cost of $15.00.
