The ACDC

The ACDC History of The ACDC The "ACDC" is a rather large hill comprised of coal-dirt, shale, and other rocks. The "ACDC" can be spelled ACDC, AcDc, or AC/DC.

It is located behind "Boyers" (A Food Market) in downtown Shenandoah, Pennsylvania 17976, United States of America. This hill is the result of Coal Mining in the immediate area decades ago, the Mines (at the time) could not sell this fill as a burnable fuel once the actual coal was mined. Today mining at the location of the ACDC has stopped and it is now a Hillclimb and major attraction for ATV/Qu

ad riders and Dirtbike riders from all areas. It is also rumored to have been named after the Rock and Roll band AC/DC when local kids spray-painted "ACDC" in large white lettering on the front side of the hill years back.
