Week #1 ✔️

We had an ✨AMAZING✨ first week of school! 🎉 Our students jumped right in and made so many fun memories while learning new things!

In ASL, students learned their very first signs and were excited to practice signing the phrase “My first day of 2026–2027!” 🤟✨ It was so much fun watching everyone learn, practice, and build confidence with their new signs!

In Science, students got to learn all about lab safety… with a little bit of slime, of course! 🧪💚 Students had a blast making slime while learning important safety rules and practicing how to work safely in the lab.

What a fantastic start to the school year! We can’t wait to see what the rest of the year has in store!

Just a reminder, there are NO DROP IN HOURS TOMORROW (Friday 8/28)!! Please do not bring your students to school.

Day #1 ✔️

Despite spending a good chunk of our morning in the gym—which, let’s be honest, felt like it was approximately 200 degrees 🥵😂—and sitting through our yearly school information, we still managed to have an AMAZING first day!

Students had the chance to reconnect with their advisory groups, catch up with familiar faces, and, most importantly, start getting to know some of the new students joining our school community! It was so great to see the excitement, energy, and smiles throughout the building as everyone settled back into the swing of things.

In the afternoon, students jumped into their FlexTech Houses, where they spent time collaborating, communicating, and working together through fun team-building activities. It was the perfect way to kick off the year and get everyone thinking about what it means to be part of a team and a community!

While the first day may have been a little warm, a little busy, and filled with LOTS of information, we couldn't be more excited about the year ahead! There are so many opportunities, experiences, and memories waiting for our students, and we are SO incredibly thrilled to see where this year takes us!

Here’s to a fantastic year filled with learning, growth, teamwork, new friendships, and plenty of fun!

FlexTech Community! 💙💛
The first day of school is August 20th! Only 11 days to go - but you don’t have to wait that long to see what’s new at FlexTech!

Our Open House is TOMORROW, and we have LOTS of exciting things happening this year!

Come meet some of our new teachers, check out the school, see what our students have been working on, and learn about some of the new (and maybe not-so-new) opportunities at FlexTech:

🎭🎮💪🎉 Students at FlexTech have lots of ways to get involved with student-led clubs and activities, including Drama Club, Esports, Fitness Club, clubs for planning dances and other school events, and more! And if there’s something else you want to see at FlexTech, you can help make it happen!

📚 Something you might not know: FlexTech is 8th–12th grade, not just 9th–12th!

🎓 We have lots of opportunities to earn college credit while still in high school!

🤟 ASL is now our World Language! Students who have already started German will still have the opportunity to complete German 2.

Good Morning FlexTech Community, our first cleanup with the Adopt-A-Highway program this spring made a real difference, and we’re excited to head back out to keep our stretch of M-20 looking its best. Whether you’re a new, current, or former student or a family member, we’d love to have you join us for a few hours of fresh air, teamwork, and giving back to our community.

Hello FlexTech Families, we hope that everyone is having a fun and relaxing summer ☀️🚣‍♀️🌻

To give our office staff a well deserved break, we will have reduced hours for the next few weeks.

Here are our summer hours for this week - please note that the building will be closed next week for 4th of July. After that, we will be in the building again on Tuesdays and Thursdays until the end of July.
