As we settle students in for the new school year, I am grateful to be continuing my 30+ year career with Jefferson County Schools, serving our next generation of leaders.
When I look in their faces, I see the future. This is one reason I am seeking your vote for County Commission. I understand that we need to plan for a successful local economy that supports a broad spectrum of opportunities and protects what makes Jefferson county special for generations to come.
I also know we cannot do it by implementing the same old policies that have already failed elsewhere or that serve only outside interests - heavy industry, natural resource extraction, unrestrained data centers, utility scale solar on farm land, industrial transmission lines, and the like. My opponent has supported many of these same things.
I will stand up for what is best for Jefferson County and our future - not singular or outside interests! Public Service, Not Self-Service!
