Another productive day in the shop for the ArmyBassAnglers team!

We spent yesterday getting this Skeeter ZX200 one step closer to being a serious fishing machine for the 1st Contact Tungsten, MonsterBass, and GrandeBass team. While we’re still waiting on a few parts to arrive before the build is completely finished, the project is coming together exactly as planned.

A quality install takes time, and we refuse to cut corners. Every wire, connection, and component is being done the right way to ensure this rig performs flawlessly on the water for years to come.

Stay tuned as we put the finishing touches on this build. This ZX200 is going to be one sweet ride when it’s complete!

One of the things we love about running Pro Guide Batteries is how easy they make battery management on the water.

With the built-in NMEA 2000 integration, all of our battery information is displayed right on our Lowrance units. No guessing. No opening compartments. And while Pro Guide does offer an app, having everything visible directly on our graphs while we’re fishing is incredibly convenient.

At a glance, we can see:
🔋 Battery voltage
🔋 State of charge
🔋 Current draw
🔋 Remaining capacity
🔋 Real-time battery health information

Whether we’re running 36V trolling motor systems or 16V electronics batteries, having that information right on our Lowrance graphs gives us confidence throughout the day. We know exactly how much power we have left and can make informed decisions without ever leaving the driver’s seat.

This is one of those features you don’t realize you need until you’ve had it. Once you start monitoring your batteries through NMEA 2000 on your Lowrance unit, you’ll wonder how you ever fished without it.

The photos show a few different ways to display the battery information on your Lowrance units, making it easy to customize the view that works best for you and your setup.

Pro Guide didn’t just build a lithium battery—they built a complete marine power solution designed for serious anglers who depend on their electronics every day.

Watching these West Point Cadets walk across the stage at the Collegiate National Championship is what it is all about. 🇺🇸🎣

ArmyBassAnglers is proud to support the next generation of leaders by helping make opportunities like this possible. From loaning our boats to supporting these young men throughout the event, this is bigger than fishing. It’s about leadership, teamwork, and giving these Cadets the chance to compete at the highest level.

A huge thank you goes out to our incredible partners who help make this happen year after year. Special thanks to Skeeter Products, Inc and especially (Chris Brown) for always stepping up and helping us create opportunities like this for our military and collegiate anglers.

We also want to thank Lowrance, Power-Pole, Yamaha, Pro Guide Batteries, Motormate, and all of the sponsors and supporters behind the scenes who continue to believe in what ArmyBassAnglers stands for. None of this happens without people and companies willing to invest in these young leaders and the future of the outdoors industry.

Support. Defend. Fish. 🇺🇸

This Memorial Day, we pause to honor the brave men and women who gave everything in service to our nation.

At ArmyBassAnglers, freedom is more than a word — it’s something paid for by sacrifice. Today we remember those who never made it home, the families who carry that loss, and the legacy they left behind.

As we spend time on the water, with family, and in the outdoors we love, may we never forget the true meaning of this day.

Remembering the brave.
Honoring the fallen.
Never forget the sacrifice. 🇺🇸

While everyone else stood with their hats over their hearts, the West Point cadets rendered a salute during the National Anthem before takeoff at the Collegiate Bass Fishing Championship. 🇺🇸

A small moment that stood out in a big way.

Before the fishing starts… before the pressure, the competition, and the long day on the water… they remembered what that flag represents and the commitment behind the uniform they are preparing to wear as future Army officers.

That’s bigger than fishing.

Proud to support these cadets as they represent West Point and ArmyBassAnglers on one of the biggest stages in collegiate fishing.

Nathan and Ethan making the walk across the weigh-in stage after Day 1 of the Collegiate National Championship. 🇺🇸🎣

The final tally was 3 fish, but this one could have easily looked very different. They had multiple opportunities at a limit today and just had several key fish come off during the fight. That’s tournament fishing — sometimes inches and split seconds are the difference between an average day and a big bag.

What matters is they never quit adjusting. After a tough practice, these West Point cadets made the decision to lock through, adapt on the fly, and trust the process. In the military we always say the plan never survives first contact, and today proved that once again.

A lot of teams would hang their heads after losing fish like that, but don’t count Nathan and Ethan out. They proved they are around the right quality of fish, and if a few more make it to the boat tomorrow, they can make a serious move.

Proud of these cadets and the way they represented West Point and ArmyBassAnglers from ABA 6 today.

Day 2 mission: finish the fight.

You can tell Eli is deep in thought this morning as he studies the Lowrance units before takeoff at the Collegiate National Championship. After a tough practice week, he might need a little morale boost… but don’t count this West Point cadet out. 🇺🇸🎣

Sometimes the best tournament days come after the toughest practices. He’s seen fish, gathered intel, and now it comes down to making adjustments on the fly. In the military we always say the plan never survives first contact. What matters is the ability to FRAGO, adapt, and keep pushing forward when things aren’t going perfectly.

That mindset is exactly what Eli brings to the water. Calm under pressure. Willing to adjust. Ready to execute when the opportunity shows up.

Proud to see Eli representing West Point and ArmyBassAnglers this week.

Now it’s time to go make something happen.

The calm before takeoff.

West Point cadets Nathan and Ethan are sitting in the ArmyBassAnglers Skeeter “ABA 6” waiting for Day 1 of the Collegiate National Championship to begin. Practice has been a grind. They’ve seen fish everywhere, but getting them to bite consistently has been tough.

So this morning, they made the call to flip the script and lock through. A completely different move than what they originally planned.

In the military, we have a saying: “The plan never survives first contact.” What matters is the ability to adapt, adjust, and FRAGO on the fly when conditions change. That’s exactly what Nathan and Ethan are doing today.

That mindset is what the military does best. You gather intel, make the best plan possible, and when the situation changes, you adapt and execute. Tournament fishing is no different.

Proud to see these future Army leaders representing West Point from the deck of ABA 6 and putting that mentality to work on the water today.

Good luck men. Time to execute the mission. 🇺🇸🎣

Three days on the water. Heavy trolling motor use at 70%. Running a full 16V electronics setup the entire time… and this is what confidence looks like.

The new ABA Skeeter build powered by Pro Guide Batteries continues to prove why power management matters when you spend long days chasing fish, filming content, and testing equipment in real-world conditions.

After 3 straight days of fishing, the app still shows plenty of power left in the system. No voltage drop issues. No worrying about graphs shutting down. No wondering if the trolling motor is going to make it through the day. Just reliable performance when it matters most.

This is exactly why we made the move to ProGuide for the 2026 setup. Between the 36V trolling motor system and dedicated 16V electronics power, the difference has been impressive already.

When you depend on your equipment day in and day out, battery performance is not just a convenience — it is mission critical.

Some weeks mean more.

This picture says it all. As we take time to support the West Point Bass Team during the College National Championship, it’s a reminder of what this community is really about — patriotism, teamwork, leadership, and the outdoors.

With Power-Pole, Skeeter Boats, and Yamaha Outboards rigged and ready, and Old Glory flying in the background, this is more than just fishing.

It’s about representing something bigger than ourselves. 🇺🇸
