Bullitt County is so Honored to have a leg of the Law Enforcement Torch Run for The Kentucky Special Olympics right here in Shepherdsville for the 3rd year in a row! We are so proud of all these athletes! Thank you to everyone who came, ran and participate! We are looking forward to many more years of the Torch Run!

The Technical Committee will be meeting to review and advise on revisions to the Bullitt County Planning and Zoning regulations May 21, 2026, from 12:00 – 2:00 PM. The meeting will be held at Shepherdsville City Hall located at 634 Conestoga Parkway. The public is welcome to attend however public comments will not be made at this meeting.

Bullitt County will be hosting a tire amnesty event this Fall. This is a State funded event. As with all State funded tire amnesty events, Kentucky residents are eligible to take advantage of any of these events free of charge. The Fall schedule will be posted in August. Bullitt County is expecting to have our event in September 2026. In 2023 we collected 53,000 tires!
