KYTC is hosting a second public meeting on Thursday, Sept. 3, from 5–7 p.m. to share potential improvement concepts for the interchange and gather public input.

📍 South Central Regional Library
7300 Jefferson Blvd., Louisville

This is an open house with no formal presentation, so stop by anytime between 5 and 7 p.m. to review project information, learn more about potential improvements and provide comments.

The study is evaluating concepts to:
• Reduce congestion
• Improve traffic flow
• Enhance safety
• Identify potential short- and long-term improvements

🚨Important update for the upcoming Bullitt County Board of Adjustment hearing August 13th

At the request of the applicant, The Bullitt County Board of Adjustment will not hear docket 2026CU-12 James and Linda Parker at the August 13, 2026 hearing. When the case is placed on a future docket new notice will be sent.

🚨IMPORTANT🚨

🚧 TRAFFIC ADVISORY: Speed Limit Reductions Coming to KY 44 in Bullitt County 🚧

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of speed limit reductions on KY 44 (Old Mill Road) on Thursday, Aug. 6, in Bullitt County.

On KY 44, the speed limit will be reduced from 55 mph to 45 mph beginning at Big Clifty Drive (mile point 15.10) and extending east to Fisher Lane (mile point 21.10).

Additionally, two school zones will be impacted by this change. On KY 44, the speed limit will be reduced during operational periods from 45 mph to 35 mph at Pleasant Grove Elementary near Bogard Lane (mile point 18.41) and extending east to just past the school entrance (mile point 18.77).

The speed limit will also be reduced during operational periods from 45 mph to 35 mph at Eastside Middle School, from Cherry Hill Parkway (mile point 19.00) to Azure Drive (mile point 19.29).

KYTC crews are scheduled to update the speed limit signs on Thursday, Aug. 6, by 10 a.m. Motorists should heed signage, use caution, and adhere to newly posted speed limits.
