Good afternoon citizens of Bullitt County! This will be our second year donating backpacks to the schools in our county. Last year we were able to donate multiple backpacks to every elementary school. This year we are hoping to donate 15 backpacks to every high school. These backpacks will be filled with school supplies and each bag with have a hygiene kit! We as an EMS service will be collecting donations until August 1st, so we can have everything ready for the beginning of the 2026-2027 school year! The flyer attached to this post are all the things we are needing, if you can help BCEMS would be greatly appreciated📚✏️📓🚑💙

Today we said goodbye to Deputy Director Rebekah Osman who has accepted a new position in her home state of Nebraska. Deputy Director Osman has been a friend mentor and leader to the men and women of BCEMS for the last 6 years, while her stepping away is a giant loss for our team, we are excited and happy to see her succeed in her new role. Rebekah thank you from the bottom of our hearts and best of luck wherever life takes you.
