Hello! My name is Shannon Rodgers. I am a military spouse and mom of 4!

In January, we moved here for my husband’s career in the Air Force. I have been teaching for 13 years with additional experience, prior to that, as a paraprofessional. I will be joining Sheppard as the new 5/6 RLA teacher. I am excited to be a part of a community that values education and feels like family!!

My favorite hobby is getting lost in a good book! I hope to instill a strong love for reading with my students and cannot wait to start the year!!

Hi everyone! My name is Chelsey Hendrix, and I am so excited to be joining the Sheppard Elementary team as a new Pre-K Paraprofessional. I bring a background in administrative support and organization to the classroom, and I am currently working toward my degree in early childhood education.

I can't wait to combine my studies and my experience to create a fun, structured, and nurturing environment for our youngest learners!

My family recently relocated to the area. When I’m not in the classroom, you can usually find me with my husband and 3 daughters! My hobbies include baking sourdough bread, reading, or practicing photography. I am thrilled to join this amazing community and can't wait for a fantastic year ahead!
