🇺🇸 Save the date for the Stand Together: Veteran Community Event happening on Wednesday, August 26th from 2:00 PM - 6:00 PM!

Hosted by the VA and Wichita County, this dedicated event is a one-stop-shop for our local veterans to update or enroll in VA health care, get a new ID, and enroll in the ODVA registry. Tag a veteran in the comments who needs to see this!

Back to school shopping is the perfect reminder of how much your child has grown lately. While you’re thinking about it, take the time to make sure your child still fits within the limits of their car seat!

Your child should fit within the weight and height limits of the mode that you’re using, and make sure you pay special attention if your car seat’s manufacturer has an age requirement as well.

We’ll even give you extra credit for using your seat to the maximum height or weight (or appropriate harness height!). Keeping your child in each mode (rear facing, forward facing and booster seat) allows them to have extra layers of protection as their bodies develop.

Chest clips are named that for a reason! They should be in line with your child's armpits and serve an important purpose as a pre-crash positioning device.

Having the chest clip in the proper place allows for the harness to act properly and protect your child.

Double check that your child's chest clip is at the proper height each and every ride to keep them safe and protected!
