John Dowse and his son William are one of Sherborn's oldest most prominent families with a huge farm and orchard dating back 200 years! They treated us to an apple and c***r tasting and shared their expertise and history 🍎Fun Facts: Holbrook C***r Mill in Sherborn was known in the 1890s as the largest refined c***r mill. Dowse's has over 30 varieties of apples and plant around 1200 trees per acre each year!!
