Sherburn Residents: Please see photo for information on water access on Monday morning, June 1st, 2026. The City of Sherburn is replacing a few fire hydrants that are in need of repair. Excavating company’s will be in multiple spots performing work. Please be mindful of those areas, no driving through work areas, stay clear of heavy equipment, there will be no water access from approximately 7:30am till the work is completed by approximately 11:30am. There will be other work being performed thereafter that can be isolated to certain areas of town. During the morning the water tower will need to be shut down for maintenance and repair of those hydrants. Please see photo. Thanks for your understanding. Plan ahead. Thank you so much!

We’d like to make a post to let anyone in Sherburn know who was visited this afternoon by a Sherburn Welcome Officer or Martin County Deputy that the matter we were investigating has been resolved and all parties are home safe. Thank you for all of the public’s help.

Law Enforcement Day at the Sherburn Elementary School! The Pre K -2nd Graders got to crawl around the squad cars and got shown shields, spike strips, and traffic safety items! Thanks to the Martin County, MN Sheriff's Office for lending us a hand!

Friendly Reminder: School is in session. We have two schools on a major highway. Please slow down near school zones, two hands on the wheel, pay attention to your surroundings, drive with due care during weather events and pay attention to crosswalks. A reminder that the towns are in a snow emergency through tomorrow morning at a minimum. Public works will continue to make rounds keeping the drifts at bay. Borntragers has already made a lap and we’ve been towing cars. We will continue to do so. Keep your things off the streets until this is storm is over, not just until the plow goes by. For the adults we don’t have to remind every snow fall, you’re appreciated, go tell your neighbor.
