🍂A native install on a beautiful fall morning!

We installed 13 species, ~150 plants of all native bloomers for spring, summer, and fall! 🌼

It’s been a busy season at Pipe Creek and I’m grateful for your support through our summer move and finding us again at our new location/home. 🏡

We have a few select species of plants still available this fall and looking forward to our spring season…..

Hamilton Co. folks, please consider supporting this great fundraiser from our friends at Hamilton County Soil and Water Conservation District. I’ve never met a more dedicated team than the one right here in our own county. They are incredibly knowledgeable and friendly and they strongly support NATIVE PLANTS!!!
✅ 👍🏻🌱

Fun story…
A few weeks ago, I attended a women in conservation conference held at our local Soil & Water Conservation District office. One of the staff members popped in to introduce himself to the group and share his role with the SWCD. He’s been with the organization for something like 30 years (!!😲) and I remember him from Ag Day when I was a second grader!🍀
It was a joy for me to share that with him and the positive impression that was made on me at such a young age.
That’s what it’s all about! ❤️

It's time! Our annual fundraiser is live. Please consider supporting our mission by purchasing native trees, shrubs, and perennials from our fall sale.

Orders are due September 17th and order pickup is October 1st and 2nd in Noblesville, IN. You do not need to be a Hamilton County resident to purchase. We appreciate your support and commitment to planting native!!

If you are looking for a local native plant grower that
🌱Doesn’t just talk about growing and planting natives; she is actually doing it
🌱Has a background in biology and understands how supporting local ecosystems creates a healthier future
🌱Offers a unique selection of Indiana Natives that will allow you to create the habitat you have always dreamed of
🌱Does not use neonicotinoids, thus the blooms are actually safe for pollinators

Then you're in the right place. Pipe Creek Native Plants has been in business since 2023, and this year they are moving to their permanent location in Noblesville. Founder Joanna Scott is a biologist by trade and has spent her life caring for the flora and fauna of central Indiana. Every plant grown is part of a bigger mission to support biodiversity, strengthen local habitats, and help communities reconnect with the natural environment.

Pipe Creek Native Plants implements conservation practices, including riparian improvement, invasive removal and management, native prairie installation, and native tree and shrub plantings

What do they produce? Midwest native plants as well as seeds.

How can you order? Online at pipecreeknativeplants.com.
There is a spring pre-sale, and plants are also sold through the growing season.

wow THANK YOU so much!! 🙏🏼

It’s been a wonderful start to spring and I’m very appreciative for you supporting me and this business.

Big news — we’ve officially outgrown our pots 🪴

This is the last season that we’ll be in our current location. Pipe Creek Native Plants will carry its legacy from its humble starts in Sheridan to its new location in Noblesville within the next month.

We’re putting down new roots 🌱

My family and nursery will be zipping to the opposite side of the county where our new home is getting its finishing touches for us to move in!

Although we don’t have a brick and mortar location to shop from, the fun news is — our plants and plant cart can easily move and the nursery is coming right along with us. 🛒

You’ll still find me and the plants at local events and markets and our nursery/plant cart will be about 18 miles directly east of where we’re at now ➡️

Orders can still be placed via website and I’ll make sure to coordinate correct pick up location with you.

Home is where the plants are🤎🌿

Such a joy to meet new friends, run into old friends, & mingle with some really cool and talented small business owners.

May in IN is super fun! 🌱💐☀️🏁

Don't let anyone talk you out of buying that $10 native plant. That $50 garden will be the best $100 ecosystem on the block.
