Today Grant County Search and Rescue(SAR), along with Grant County Rescue, Prattsville Fire Department, Tull Fire Dept, Saline County OEM, Shaw Fire Dept, Turtle Creek Fire and others performed a search along and near the Saline River for a missing person. Mobilization takes time but once deployment started the missing person was found very quickly. The person was found to be safe and in fairly good condition

What a time to be on GCR/SAR! On Monday night GCSAR drilled on a brand new Long Reach Telescopic Rescue Pole. This device has multi-purpose uses for things such as Water Rescues, Well Rescues, Pet Retrieval, and many other calls. Definitely a Life Saving Device!
