We're so happy that the work is finally done, and our walk-in freezer has its permanent home! A fully enclosed building extension, with no more ramps to get in/out of the freezer. Thanks so much to Yamhill Community Care for the grant that made it possible, and thanks to Hampton Lumber for donating their millwrights' time and skill in reassembling/reinstalling the freezer.

We're now ready for the Thanksgiving/Christmas holiday season and continuing to serve our wonderful community.

A huge "thank you" to Yamhill County Commissioner Bubba David King - he spent time with us this afternoon, learning what we do for and with the City of Sheridan, Oregon and West Valley community... and listening to the unique challenges that have arisen this year.

We deeply appreciate his time, his genuine interest, and his offer to stay connected moving forward.

Due to a recent reduction in the availability and flow of food through national distribution channels, we will be changing from weekly to twice-monthly food distribution at our Sheridan food pantry. In honor of and , we are again partnering with BottleDrop this month on collecting your returnable (for-deposit) plastic & glass bottles, as well as aluminum cans. We will be getting a 20% bonus for everything we bring to them, so please drop off your plastic/glass/aluminum returnables to us by April 26th!
