🔥The Madison County Public Health Nurse has been visiting 2nd grade classrooms throughout the county this week to present on home fire safety. In addition to home safety plans and activity books, each student is learning about calling 911 and bringing home a smoke alarm/carbon monoxide detector. ☎️
Over the next few months, we will be set up at community events to distribute smoke alarms, carbon monoxide detectors, small fire extinguishers, and smoke alarm batteries in addition to educational materials. 🧯
