With the current air quality index floating between “moderate” and “unhealthy” and occasionally “very unhealthy,” it’s important to think about the indoor air quality at home.

Here is a simple method to create a home air cleaning system with supplies you may have on hand or can find in our local hardware stores. We also have some supplies on hand at the Public Health Office and can help assemble these.

Lifejackets!

With the sudden storm at the end of the Flotilla event in Twin Bridges Saturday, we haven't been able to recover all of our lifejackets. There are about a dozen missing, mostly in smaller sizes.
If you have one, please drop it off at the Fairgrounds Office so we can get them cleaned and prepped for the County Fair next week. Thanks!

The National Weather Service has issued a Severe Weather Alert, Moderate severity, for anticipated high temperatures and high humidity and the potential for heat illnesses. This alert is in effect Friday at noon through Sunday evening.

This alert names the communities of Harrison, Pony, McAllister, Norris, Jeffers, Cameron, Waterloo, and Ennis - as well as the Madison River Valley - as areas to be affected.

Please prioritize hydration, staying cool, avoiding too much direct sunlight, and check up on your elderly relatives and neighbors through the weekend.
