Congratulations to Wyoming Seat Belt Coalition member, Cody Beers, recipient of a 2026 NHTSA Public Service Award for his role in developing positive community engagement messages (on behalf of WYDOT District 5-Northwest Wyoming) to promote safe driving behaviors on and around the Wind River Reservation. Buckle up for life, Wyoming!

The Burgess Junction Visitor Center is open for the season!

Stop in and say hello as you explore the Bighorn Scenic Byway (US Highway 14). Our team at Sheridan County Travel & Tourism has been hard at work with the Forest Service and WYDOT to give the old bones of this beautiful building a makeover for this season.

Our staff will help you find great places to stay, explore, eat, visit, and more - all across Sheridan County, and the Bighorn Mountain region.

Congratulations to a few of our D4 folks for their year's of service to WYDOT. Dana McInerney, Sundance construction, 35 years. Mark Baumgartner, sign foreman, 40 years. Brian Blakeman, guardrail foreman, 5 years. Also, congratulations to Paul Brager, Burgess Junction maintainer, and Stephan Charles, Buffalo Resident Engineer, for receiving the first quarter All4Safety award.
