We had some of the best visitors today, Marlow youth members gave us a wonderful surprise. They brought our firefighters hand made appreciation cards and cookies.
We had an amazing time showing them all the tools and gear that firefighters use on calls.
They enjoyed getting to spray with a real fire hose used in structure fires. We are so grateful to have the opportunity to share what we do with the youth in our communities. They are our future, and the volunteer fire service will ultimately rely on them one day.

It’s hot and dry, with these conditions outdoor burning is very risky. Use extreme caution and never leave a fire unattended.

As of today, 19 counties in southern Arkansas are at high wildfire risk, and the rest of the state remains at a moderate risk. Burn bans are now in place in 41 counties. Under these conditions, fires ignite easily, spread quickly, and can become serious. Unattended brush piles and campfires are likely to escape, and hot, dry weather will continue to push fire risk higher in the coming days.

Report any wildfire immediately to the Department’s Forestry Dispatch at 1‑800‑468‑8834.

We had a great turnout with members for this weeks training. We engaged in critical thinking and working with different tools to achieve a positive outcome.
It’s imperative that we maintain a flexible approach when it comes to emergency situations.
Cane Creek FD is very proud of the men and women that dedicate their time to hone their skills and get the job done.

Your firefighters working hard. Last night we went through some pump operations, hose deployment techniques as well as loading hose.

It was hot, they were tired, but still showed up and put in work.
